Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Datum Nexus collects when you use Branchwork, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Your content: the maps, topics, notes and task states you create.
- Plan and billing status: whether you’re on Free or Pro, and your subscription status and renewal date. Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser and time of requests) kept by our hosting and database providers for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To run your account and sync your maps across devices, process subscriptions, send essential emails (confirming your address, resetting your password, billing notices), keep the service secure, and respond when you contact us. We don’t sell your data and don’t use your content for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: account sign-in and database where your maps are stored.
- Paddle: our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, taxes and invoices under its own privacy policy.
- Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
- Hostinger: hosts the website files.
These providers may store data outside your country. They’re bound to protect it and use it only to provide their services to us.
Who can see your maps
Only you, when signed in. Our database refuses access to anyone else’s account. Authorised Datum Nexus staff can access stored data only when needed to provide support, fix problems or meet legal obligations.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your maps and account details within 30 days, except billing records we or Paddle must keep by law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Export any map from the app, or email support@example.com for anything else. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (for example under the GDPR) and the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your theme and last open map. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
We’ll post changes here and, if they’re significant, tell you by email or in the app.
